House cleaning price calculator
Work out what to charge for a house clean from your own numbers: how long each room takes you, your hourly rate, a supplies charge, travel and a discount for regular clients. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
The boxes start with a worked example. These are not suggested or typical prices; type in your own rates and times.

Minutes are cleaner-minutes: the time one person would take. Two cleaners halve the time on site, not the labor. Set the discount to 0 for a one-off clean. The discount is taken off labor and supplies; travel is added after it.
How it works
Cleaning time = (bedrooms × minutes + bathrooms × minutes + other rooms × minutes + extra minutes) ÷ 60. Labor = cleaning time × your hourly rate. Price per clean = (labor + supplies) × (1 − discount) + travel. Time on site = cleaning time ÷ cleaners.
Worked example (the values above): 3 × 25 + 2 × 40 + 2 × 20 + 30 = 225 minutes, so the clean takes 3 h 45 min of cleaner time, or 1 h 53 min on site with 2 cleaners. At $50 an hour that is $187.50 of labor; with the $8.00 supplies charge the price before discount is $195.50. A 10% recurring discount takes off $19.55, and the $5.00 travel charge brings the price per clean to $180.95. That works out at $48.25 per cleaner-hour.
